The connection with the customer took place through a partner, the video agency Khokhlov Sabatovsky. The director and founder of the company had an idea to start production of youtube videos explaining the global idea and principle  smart homes  ordinary

viewers + this way you can promote

recognition of the company among ordinary people

A little later, the general appearance of the videos was determined - a talking head, inserts of footages under the text, a tube atmosphere, maximum life in the picture and a minimum of boring static

It was agreed that the customer himself would act as a screenwriter and write plots for the videos, but on our side, it remained to edit and adjust to the general style. Initially, 4 videos were identified, in which they told the basis of a smart home (acquaintance, history, lighting and climate)

A lot has been assigned to the post-production stage:

• sorting of material,

• voiceover recording

• creation of B-Roll plans (all sorts of footage with the history of the smart home and examples that complement the basic plans, on which the voiceover was superimposed),

• animation of light control in After Effects

Filming began after a month of full preparation from the technical and creative side (estimate, production schedule, speaker's text, director's script).

Since only one day was allocated for shooting, we needed to distribute all the scenes very competently so as not to run from location to location every time and not rearrange the light again. We shot all the scenes of all 4 videos at one location at once, switched to another and so on again. Do not forget to change only T-shirts

The production cycle took about 4 months and at the exit we had 4 rollers on hand
